Compare and ContrastEssays are the other large essay types in academic writing. The principle
of a compare and contrast essay is
to analyze the differences and the similarities of two different topics. A high-quality
compares and contrast essay doesn’t simply
point out how the subjects are comparable or different. There are a number of
ways of writing a comparison and contrast
essay, all of which depend on the choices of subject and the way of the idea.
In a compare and contrast essay, you
are discussing equally the similarities and the differences between two
subjects.
- Introduction
The introduction must
attract readers into reading your essay, so create sure you start out well-built.
An introduction must explain what the compare
and contrast essay is about, so if you’re discussing the similarities and
differences of the subject. Your introduction like the five paragraph essay, must
open usually with a quotation, anecdote and guide into the theory statement.
- Topic 1
This next part of your essay must envelop only the initial
topic of the comparison and contrast.
Compare and Contrast essays take two
topics and demonstrate how they are similar and different. Don’t talk about
topic 2 in the first section.
- Topic 2
The next part of your essay must envelop the second of the
two topics. Do not talk about Topic 1 in this part. Because you have previously
gone into big detail about topic 1, you may talk to Topic 1 for a short time; but,
do not analyze Topic 1 in this part. This portion of the essay is to talk about
Topic 2 in huge detail.
- Topics 1 and 2 Jointly
At this time that you have analyzed both Topic 1 and Topic 2
separately, now it is time to analyze them together. This part may too be one
or more paragraphs.
- Conclusion
The conclusion paragraph like the introduction must be a simplification
of the idea. This paragraph should state your confidence and complete knowledge
on the subject. You must repeat your idea and demonstrate how you have confirmed
it.
